The Director, Dr.Fr Viyagappa Ignatius
S.J. is a Jesuit missionary with a mission.
He is a chosen instrument anointed by God
to touch numerous lives. His mission is deeply
rooted in the strength of prayer and filial
devotion to the Blessed Mother Mary.
Fr.V.Ignatius
is currently Professor of Philosophy and
Psychology at Sacred Heart College, Satya
Nilayam, Chennai. Since the year 1971, where
young Jesuits are trained under his guidance
to face the challenges of the world today.
Fr.Ignatius has a Ph.d in Philosophy, from
Gregorian University, Rome and Masters degree
in Psychology from Gonzaga University, Spokane,
USA.
He
has authored several books and composed
and sung innumerable devotional hymns, in
16 volumes of audio cassettes and CDs. (The
VCDs of his Prayer meetings number 5 volumes)
Through his TV programme since the year
1999, he has reached millions of homes in
Asia.
The
unique and personal experience of the loving
compassion of God birthed the proclamation
ministry, “YESUVE AANDAVAR”
with the tamil monthly “YESUVE AANDAVAR
NAM MEETPAR” as it’s backbone.
The monthly saw it’s debut in November
of 1993 with 5000 of it’s first issue
circulated for free, with a donation of
INR.500.00. It was indeed a miracle when
within the first month, the monthly had
gained one thousand subscribers. Today it
towers high as the largest circulated Catholic
Tamil monthly with a strength of 28000 subscribers.
The
ministry has now evolved into a peoples
movement of Christian Prayer and witness
in Tamilnadu.
‘THE
QUEEN OF ANGELS RETREAT AND COUNSELLING
CENTRE’, situated at Kilakottaiyur
about 25kms away from the city of Chennai,
conducts the following programs.

our dream project is underway. A well planned
infra-structure with lodging facilities
and a spacious hall to contain larger numbers,
needs a lot of financial support for it’s
realisation. It could emerge into a self-contained
School of Therapy with the support of the
generous people of God.
All
these activities and services are living
witnesses to the miracle working power of
God in us.
We
