BLESSINGS OF GOD BE YOURS…
“ Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides for ever.” (Psalms125:1)
Lord God, I praise You. Father God, I glorify You! O God may Your Holy Name be honoured !
Lord God, You have penetrated Your Holy glance on this earth. Lord may Your holy glance be imprinted on me too !
Innumerable are the troubles, sufferings, insults, losses and longings in this world O God !
When I turn back in shame as my wishes go unanswered, and when others mock at me, I get tired and depressed O God!
Lord it is with complete trust that I fall prostrate now at Your Feet !
Just as Jerusalem is surrounded by hills, I read that similarly You surround Your people always, Loving God!
Thank You my God, You are like a safe mountain !Just as Jerusalem is surrounded by mountains , You envelop me with Your Power !I Thank You my God .
I believe that You surround me as the high hills, my God!
I will never get tired or depressed when I face troubles from my children, parents, wife or husband. Lord I believe that You stand steadfast around me as the hills
when ever I am faced with temptations!
You who are as the hills, and who are my Trust ! I fall down now at Your Feet my God !
You who are my power ! My troubles, insults, longings and losses due to cheating, I place them all at Your Precious feet !
Lord God, when I suffer from want of money, when I do not receive my due respect, when I am insulted at unexpected moments, I fall at Your Feet seeking refuge. At this moment, it is thus that I fall at Your Holy Feet !
Come to me Lord, surround me as a mountain and save me ! Free me !
Lord grant me freedom from my sufferings, my losses, and my state of ill repute.
Above all You are filled with the Power to fulfill all deeds more than I ask or even imagine! Lord it is to You alone that I turn in trust .
Lord I fall at Your Feet trusting in You alone.
Bless me father God, bless me! I long for You.
I stay longing for Your Power! Your Goodness! And Your Graces! I Thank You O God !
Bless me Father God !, Bless me !
AMEN! AMEN!

WHAT IS IT THAT DISPLEASES GOD MOST ?
You may read Proverbs chapter 6 verses 16 to 19 to get the answer.
“ There are six things which the LORD hates, seven which are an abomination to him : haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, false witness who breathes out lies, and a man who sows discord among brothers.”
These days Mother Mary appears to several people in various places requesting and calling them all to pray.
Many people come to our meetings with great longing to pray. Not only in Tamil Nadu, the whole of India, but also in Asia, there are several Prayer gatherings held to enable the people to pray.
Not only the Roman Catholics, but Christians from all denominations, and those from other religions all gather people together in great crowds not only as Prayer gatherings, but also political gatherings!
But can all political gatherings be considered prayer gatherings, and are our prayer gatherings turning out to be political gatherings, is a question left for us to ponder over.
Our thoughts as to how we ought to pray should be held steadfast in our hearst. Those who wish to pray should be pleasing in the eyes of God. Those who wish to be within His loving glance , should have certain points embedded in their hearts.
We should avoid certain behaviour that displeases God. The Book of Proverbs states thus. I shall narrate the seven things that God hates most.
1. Haughty eyes
2. A lying tongue
3. Hands that shed innocent blood
4. A heart that devises wicked plans
5. Feet that make haste to run to evil
6. False witness who breathes out lies
7. A man who sows discord among brothers.
If we were to speak of all of it in brief, think of this…
- Our eyes.
Haughty eyes. This is not only to do with our sight , but the haughtiness in our heart, which is way beyond our sight.
- Our tongue!
Our tongue is meant to speak good things, to Praise God and Glorify Him, but if that tongue is one that utters lies, how terrible that would be. We speak good with our tongue and with that very same tongue we speak ill of others or hurt them .We should avoid such instances.
- Our hand!
Hand is also placed as a symbol in politics. Hand is meant to do good ! But that hand should never be used to kill some one or to take some one to the court. May our hands be the tools that only carry out good deeds!
- Our heart !
Our mind! There are several evils that come from our hearts. We should be alert to prevent any kind of evil creeping into or rising from our hearts. Goodness comes only from a tongue that bears good thoughts in the mind ! Only a good heart will lead our hands to do good deeds ! Only when the heart is filled with goodness will the feet be led to places that are good !
- Our feet!
What about our feet ? How about the different organs in our body ?
We should consider this. Our body is a symbol of our heart, our mind. We refer to ‘ Body language’. Our face mirrors our mind, our heart. What we are within is reflected on our face.
We never carry out any deed all at once. Just consider a drunken person who scolds another . It is not a sudden action! Even before he fights, or he drinks, that thought keeps running in his mind.
Hatred ,enmity, bitterness and jealousy come out of us, only because they are deep within the heart. Our mind thinks even before our feet begins to walk. So even before we ask where our feet are taking us, we should question the state of our mind , our heart.
6. False witness who breathes out lies
7. A deed that causes discord
Two friends would be conversing with each other very closely. Their relationship would be just fine. There would emerge a third person who would unhesitatingly cause disharmony or rift between the friends by bringing about a fight and he would vanish. Those who were friends will now turn out to become enemies for life. The reason is the deed that causes discord among friends/ brothers. This is to be totally avoided.
Those who wish to pray, should give serious thought to these seven points.
To analyse our sight, our heart, and our thinking, we should place it all in the Presence of God.
We may pray thus: “Lord God, Grant me a pure heart !”
I wish you Joy !
